How Often Should I Clean My Pet’s Ears?

We recommend cleaning your pet’s ears every 2 to 4 weeks for maintenance and after any swimming or bathing. Some common signs of an ear infection include redness, swelling, foul odor in the ears, and excessive head shaking, scratching, or tilting. If you suspect your pet might have an ear infection, please call us!

One of our Registered Veterinary Technicians, Erica Wheat, was able to demonstrate how to clean your pet’s ears with the help of one of our resident cats, Poppy, and daycare kiddo, Diamond.
