How do I use the online pharmacy for written prescriptions?

If you purchase items through our online pharmacy like medications, prevention, or prescription food, we will receive a request in our email to approve. Once a technician or veterinarian approves your request, the order will be completed and will be shipped to your house. If you would like to purchase prevention, medication, or prescription food elsewhere, you must pick up a written prescription card from us to be able to purchase the medications.

What type of prevention do you carry and what does each one treat?

We carry the following preventions:

  • Flea & Tick prevention: Simparica (dogs) and Revolution (cats)
  • Heartworm prevention: Interceptor or ProHeart6 / ProHeart 12 injection
  • Flea & Tick & Heartworm prevention: Simparica Trio
What type of surgeries does your clinic offer?

We provide Spays, Neuters, Gastropexy, Mass Removals, Amputation, Cystotomy, Dental cleanings/extractions, Enucleations, Exploratory, FHO (femoral head operation), Urethral Obstruction, and some Cruciate Ligament repairs depending on the severity and size of the dog. We also offer Echocardiograms and Ultrasound.

Boarding FAQs

What requirements are there to board a dog at Galloway Village Veterinary?

We require all dogs to be up-to-date on the Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and intestinal parasite exams. These can be done here with us during their stay.

What requirements are there to board a cat at Galloway Village Veterinary?

We require all cats to be up-to-date on Rabies and FVR-CP (feline distemper) vaccines. This can also be done here with us during their stay. We provide litter and litter boxes.

Do I have to bring my own food for my pet?

You can bring your own food. However, we offer in-house Hill’s Healthy Advantage dry kibble for both dogs and cats.

What extras are offered during the boarding stay?

We offer the following extra ammenities:

  • 20-minute trail walks
  • Bathing (includes nail trim, ear cleaning, and brush out)
  • Nail Trims
  • Nail Grinds
  • Anal Gland Expressions
Can I bring blankets/toys/food bowls from home?

Toys and slow feeders are welcome, but we have plenty of blankets and beds, and with COVID-19 going on right now we aren’t allowing any other belongings. We provide food/water bowls, blankets, cots, and some toys for pets during their stay.

If I have more than one dog, can they board together?

Yes, as long as they get along with each other. If they fight over food or fight with another dog, then they will be separated.

What days can I drop off or pick up my pet?

You can drop off or pick up your pet Monday through Saturday during our regular hours. We do not offer drop-off or pick-up on Sundays.
